The view from the window is gorgeous. The bed is comfortable.

The hotel is nicely located in the Kowloon part of town. It’s minutes away from the boardwalk and about a 10 minute walk from the ferry to the mainland. The hotel offers shuttle services to the station and ferry. They were very kind to accept our request for an early check in, without any charge. It was most appreciated. The room was well appointed and a good size and included all the amenities one would expect from an Intercontinental. The bathroom had a small leak that went unnoticed by the housekeeping team but it was no trouble. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel had good service but the food was not worth mentioning. We had better meals around the city. The breakfast buffet had an extensive offering of food, continental, Asian and Indian. It was very nice but a small comment is that neither the food nor the coffee was hot/warm enough. A good stay altogether. We enjoyed the hotel.

We had a harbour view room, and it was spectacular at night even if the tallest buildings on the island were obscured by another building. The room was the standout in cleanliness and comfort. The bed linen and pillows were arguably the best ever experienced from many years of travel. The breakfast buffet we found expensive as all we ate was a bowl of cereal and some bacon and eggs, however if you are after a spectacular spread, and very hungry it was worth it.
